This relatively new aircraft hanger was experiencing cracking in the exterior concrete masonry facade. Non destructive testing of the facade using concrete penetrating radar found issues with the ladder reinforcement in the walls. With the facility being "like new" the owners wanted the repairs to be made with zero impact to the buildings appearance. EHA came up with an innovative repair approach that successfully addressed the problems while leaving the building looking in "like new" condition.
Additionally, as part of our review of the buildings exterior facade, wind uplift damage was found on one of the roofs. This was due to the buildings close proximity to the runways that cause extreme wind conditions around the building. EHA coordinated the roofing repairs and roofing system upgrades through warranty claims with the roof systems manufacture at no cost to the owner
