EHA Design, Inc.
is headquartered in Weston, Massachusetts.  Its predecessor, S.S. Eisenberg Associates, was founded in 1921, making it one of the oldest architectural firms in Massachusetts.  Under the leadership of its fourth generation of principals, EHA has grown to include capabilities in urban land-use planning, architectural programming, space planning, and development project management, in addition to architecture.  In 2001 the EHA Design Building Restoration Group was formed providing a more focused approach to restoration and historical preservation of buildings. 

In 2016 EHA Design, Inc. was created to better serve our clients with historical preservation, restoration, building envelope investigation and design.

The firm designs a wide range of projects for real estate developers, institutions, corporations and public agencies.  Recent projects have included urban mixed-used projects, luxury condominiums, rental housing, office buildings.  Adaptive re-use and historic preservation projects which demand a sensitivity to architectural context, precedent and detailing has been part of these projects as well.

EHA is also widely recognized for its knowledge of the regulatory process related to development.  Staff members have extensive experience with zoning, development controls, linkage policies and building codes, as well as marketing.  A number of EHA’s key personnel have served with public agencies and on regulatory boards.  This additional dimension enables EHA to provide comprehensive project management services throughout the development process.

EHA staff maintains a balance between diversity and specialization.  Key designers have previously served with major national architectural firms, and have also worked with real estate developers, public agencies and construction contractors.  Our staff hold professional registrations in most New England states. Principals and associates average over 20 years of experience, ensuring that each project will benefit from the skills and experience of a proven professional.  With our offices  centrally located in metro west Massachusetts, EHA has immediate access to some of the country’s most capable engineering and consulting firms furthering our ability to assemble an exceptional team of professionals to serve our clients.
