ADAPTIVE REUSE

Jamaica Plain High School
Circa 1901

This majestic high school was once the pinnacle of architectural design.  Converted to Condos the facility retains many of the original details making it a unique place to live. 

We worked with the owners to restore the facade and update the roofing.  This challenging project required attention to detail.  Maintaining the old while incorporating green design elements when ever possible.  The restoration of the structure and the adaptive re use of the building will ensure that it will be part of the community for many years to come.
